There is no data of which I am aware that fillers are resorbed any faster or have more problems in people with rheumatoid disease. I, in fact, have a number of such patients and they have all done well and achieved their desired result for as long as anyone else. Make sure you see someone quite experienced in use of them. We generally treat the jowl in the upper face first rather than locally to prevent you from maintaining a boxy face and to return you to the triangular face of youth.
