Thanks to Lubrigyn, a successful feminine hygiene brand based in Rome, generations of European women have known that it’s a no-no to use soap in the shower, especially on their delicate vaginal skin. Now, Lubrigyn Lotion, a combination moisturizer, cleanser and lubricant, is fast becoming a favorite of American women, too. Once you try the silky smooth and hydrating formula, you’ll never use another product down there again.

Our good friends at Lubrigyn look forward to hosting the lucky winner and her companion for this glorious trip, valued at $5,500.

A car will be waiting for you upon your arrival at Rome International Airport and will bring you to the
Rose Garden Palace, a luxury hotel that embodies style, hospitality and comfort. Located near the famous and elegant Via Veneto, The Rose Garden Palace is within walking distance of the Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese and shopping like you’ve never seen anywhere else in the world.

After spending the day on your own, you’ll delight in coming back to your beautiful room, and might even take a dip in the hotel’s indoor pool.  You’ll end your day with a sumptuous Italian dinner, compliments of Lubrigyn, of course!

DAY 2

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be picked up for a private day tour with an English-speaking guide. You’ll visit the majestic Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the Piazza Venezia and the 5th century Christian Basilica, St. Peter in Chains, where you’ll see the world-famous Statue of Moses by Michelangelo.

Finally, you’ll stop at St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest Roman Catholic Church in the world, to marvel at the art treasures, including Michelangelo’s Pieta.

If I were fortunate enough to win, I would bring my lovely girlfriend Anna Clark. Anna just graduated with her master’s degree in special education and holds a dual credential. The whole time she was in school, she worked full time with handicapped children; not only that, she volunteers on weekends with a community agency that provides social activities for handicapped young adults. She is the most hard-working, kindest, and most loving person anyone has ever met. She loves to travel and has told me many times how much she would love to travel to Italy and learn about the culture, history, and foods of the region. She already knows so much about Roman times, their city structure, politics, and daily life, that I know she has a deep interest. Thank you so much!

I would take either my mom or my dad. From birth to age 4, I was in six different foster care homes in 3 cities. My mom and dad initially took me as a foster child, then adopted me (and my brother and sister!) two years later. I am forever grateful for these two people to come into our lives and basically rescue us from a life of rotating in and out of different foster homes. I am now 19, graduated high school and a freshman in college. My brother and sister are 24, both married, college graduates, and happy. I feel like if I could give this trip to my mom or dad (probably my mom, she’s the one with wanderlust!), it could be a way to pay her back for her sacrifices she made for us. Thank you very much!

I would take my husband Jeff! After ten years military, and 22+ years law enforcement, he is retiring August 1! He has been a wonderful father and husband, helping everyone he meets and just the kindest man you could hope for. He really deserves to have a trip of a lifetime. He’s told me many times how he would love to visit Rome, all the sights he would visit, the photos he would take, the people to talk to, smells, foods to try, and even music. I know he would deeply appreciate and thoroughly enjoy a trip to Rome! Thank you. 🙂

If I won this wonderful trip I would take my loving husband of 42 years. we were never able to have a honeymoon because he was called off to serve our country 2 days after our wedding. as the months rolled into years and we very busy raising our own 3 children time just flew by. we then decided that we would love to open our home to those children who were caught up in the system for whatever reason. so as it was 27 more years went by and a few hundred children came to live with us, some very short time and some for many years. You see we cared for a lot of special needs children, those that others wouldn;t or couldn;t for whatever reason.and then there were a few very special children that touched our hearts and we adopted 3 more.I will soon be 60 and my husband is 63. I have cancer and have had some rough times and I do believe this trip could be a dream come true! thank you for your consideration and may God bless your heart. She’s a cook who delights in serving guests simple, delicious food that looks as good as it tastes. Firstly, our daughter became seriously ill for 2 years with a deadly intestinal infection she developed after taking antibiotics for a sinus infection. (She has since recovered. ) Currently, my 92 year old mother-in-law is under hospice care. My husband stays with her every weekend and has been hosting many family dinners at his mother’s house when family come to visit her. For the past ten years, he took his mother to Catholic Mass every Sunday. Now, they watch Mass on his computer, from her bed. I expect that being Catholic has a lot to do with why my husband wants to visit Rome! Ha! I guess that must be obvious. When I saw contest to win a trip to Rome, I just had to enter it. Wish us luck!

First is all, thank you Lubrigyn and Fab Over Fifty for this amazing chance of a lifetime trip giveaway! The person I would take with me the person has been not only my best friend, but also my husband. He has always been here for me through thick and thin. Three years after we were married we found out I had breast cancer. From the time I was diagnosed August 4, 2008 until the day of my surgery, November 12, 2008 he was with me for every doctor appointment, every biopsy, MRI, and every other appointment I has gone to. After four days in the hospital, I was finally able to get up and take a shower. The nurses told my husband he could he’ll me with my surgery (I had four drainage tunes in four different locations, my IV, along with all of the incisions I had). I could barely walk and I was unable to use my arms at this point). He jumped right in there to make sure that I got a shower, clothes and all. When I was able to go home, after five days, he had to do absolutely everything for me. He had to help me out of bed because I was unable to get out of bed alone because of the abdominal incision (which was a part of the type of surgery I had; kind of like a tummy tuck but use this as a means for reconstruction for my new breasts). He has to help me to the bathroom, bathe me, strip my drainage tubes daily, change my bandages a couple of times per day and more. I am sure you get the idea. He was my rock and my blessing, and still is my blessing to this day. This is the kind of person her is…he deserves so much more than I could ever give him. Taking a trip like this to Italy would be just a small token of showing him what he means to me, and how thankful and blessed I am to have him in my life.

I would take my best friend who deals with doctors appointments, IEPs (Individualized Education Plan) for four children, subdureal hematoma’s, hydrocephalus, Ataxia, Apraxia, unemployment, paying bills from “savings” for four years, “never doing enough” and does not have a life for herself but for her spouse and children. She NEEDS time away to have herself first and be the most important person for a while.

Going to Italy has been a dream of mine for decades. I would take my daughter with me as she is the best traveling companion I could ask for. She loves to travel too but her husband, like mine, never wanted to. She’s recently divorced after 20 years of marriage and this would be an awesome trip for us both. I’d love to see The Vatican, other than pictures and the Coliseum would be the icing on the cake. This is a dream trip for anyone.

I’ve been progressively getting sicker & sicker for the last few years. I simply don’t feel I have much time left. My mom, who I love dearly, just turned 84. I would love to use the time we both have left and go away together, having fun for the first time in ages. I’ve never been to Europe. This may be the last time we have the opportunity to do so.I need some quiet time in one of the most religious cities in the world to appreciate and celebrate all the beauty that exists around us and celebrate the immense love my mom and I share for each other.

please don’t give up. I started with uterine cancer which spread to my liver since my doctors blew me off for 2 1/2 years. After 3 chemos I seem to be cancer free, so far. My tumors are shrinking and my blood tests are coming back clear. I hope you can have such a good outcome. Make your doctors find out why you are unwell. I finally had to trick and shame my doctors into giving me the test that diagnosed me. My mother is 82 so I assume we are of an age (61). I hope you have many years of good life in front of you!

That is the sweetest note anyone has written me. Male doctors love to shame women. We know our bodies best but I can’t stand that look that some doctors give you as you’re trying to explain what’s bothering you to them. Last week, I went to a doctor and as I was discussing my pain, he just stared at me smirking. I called him out on it and he said he was just listening not smirking but although I might be physically ill, I’m not crazy. There comes a point when one just feels like giving up but your note truly empowered me. G-D Bless You and I will pray for you every day that you stay healthy and never have to hear the word cancer again. Love, Diane

Don’t give up… I so agree. Continue to go to doctors until you find one who will listen. For me,my best supporter was my family doctor. I had a condition as well that took years to diagnose and because of it, I’ve been disabled since the age of 40. I’m not bitter….still so grateful to be here at 54. This would never happen to a man!! Stand up for yourself and believe in yourself until you find a doctor that does as well. God Bless, Honey.

It has been my dream for more than 40 years to visit Italy, particularly Rome. Circumstances always prevented me from doing so. I’ve loved all things Italian for as long as I can remember and even studied the language, which is beautiful. I’ve never had the funds to see this beautiful country and it would mean so much to me to finally be able to walk the streets and finally see the magnificent Coliseum and the Statue of Moses by Michelangelo, as well as the other special tours. It would mean so much to me to finally be able to breathe the air in Italy!

My husband and went to Rome 30 years ago when we were college students, the summer before we got married. That was my first and only trip to Rome. After facing many challenges during our 30 year marriage, and coming very close to divorce, we have worked hard through the challenges, determined to save our marriage which, I’m happy to say, is now better than ever. This June will be our 30th wedding anniversary and we decided to renew our vows this summer and recommit to each other “till death do us part.” I can’t think of anything more romantic and meaningful than to renew our vows in the city where we began our romance 30 years ago. Oh, and did I mention that we’ve both been studying Italian? Retiring in Rome has been our dream!

I would love to win this trip. I just turned 50 in February and haven’t been on a vacation in over 20 years. I have had a lot of change in my life over the last two years, my husband passed away very unexpectedly at 47, I sold my home and moved to another state with just my dogs looking for a fresh start. I literally just moved again in January to a new city for a new job and things have been very chaotic but I am adjusting. I would love to take my best friend since the third grade with me, she turned 50 in January and lost her Mom a few days before her birthday. We both could use a vacation where we could get away, spend some time together and enjoy exploring new lands and making some great memories together that we can share with all our other girlfriends who are also turning 50 this year. I sure could use a little bit of good in my life right now and this trip would mean the world to me.

I can picture us sipping wine at a sidewalk cafe, and absorbing all the flavors of Italy as we are strolling the picturesque streets. Fingers crossed!!

Now, here I am still recuperating from brain surgery 5 years ago and on Disability so there’s no travel plans for me in the future unless I were lucky enough to win a trip such as this. What a blessing this would be!

Winning this trip to Italy with my significant other would definitely be our ” La Dolce Vita” experience of a lifetime! Immersing ourselves in the legendary Italian hospitality and then experiencing tasting the flavors of Italy would be totally gastronomical. Not only is this country, home to half the world’s greatest art treasures, we would also get a chance of a lifetime to experience the beginning of Christianity, especially coming from a Catholic background which would truly be a profound effect on our lives.

Oh wow! This would be great to take any of my friends or my sisters- would be hard to pick! But anyone would love to see the art, walk the streets & eat the fabulous food I’m sure. So I guess I’d have to have a lottery to decide! 😉

I would take my mother. During the 8 years I lived in Europe she was unable to visit me and has never been outside the USA with the exception of a visit to Niagara Falls with me. She has always wanted to visit Italy and I would be able to help her fulfill this dream through this contest while she is still healthy enough to go.

I was fortunate enough to visit Rome as an 11 year old. I never forgot the food, the scenery, the culture, the warmth of the people, and I have forever wanted to return. I would love to go with my husband, since we never had a real honeymoon. This would be perfect.

Italy has been on my bucket list for a long time. I have permanent nerve damage and 2 protruding large discs previously herniated and a bone fragment that broke off a vertebrae that were caused from an injury 7 years ago and my traveling days in the future are fast becoming extremely limited as I remain under Dr care. I have travelled to Paris, New Zealand, Punta Cana, Florida, Las Vegas & most recently Hawaii for the month of February 2016 because there will come a point, I can no longer sit for the length of a long plane ride because of these injuries. I would share this adventure with a loved one who has passport in hand, understands my limitations and wants to go as badly as I do. Under a Tuscan Sun is one of my favorite movies and I could relate to it at one point in my life as my ex fiance ran off with his secretary and left me to start over so I moved to Illinois instead of Tuscany. I was also a Fine Art major in college so to be able to see the work of Michelangelo would take my breathe away. This trip sounds amazing and thank you so much for offering the possibility to make a dream come true!

I would love to win this trip because I’ve been ill for years and will be undergoing serious surgery in the very near future. None of us now how long we have left on earth but when serious illness faces a fairly young person and threatens to end their life, it makes it that much more important to try to do all the things one always wanted to do but never did, thinking they had all the time in the world left. My mom will be 84 next week and I love her so much. I’ve never had the chance to give her all the wonderful things she deserves because of my health. To have this time to take a trip to Europe together, a place I’ve always wanted to go and to spend what may be the last days of our lives together, that would give me the chance to tell and express to her how much I love and appreciate all the wonderful things she’s done for me throughout my life. I wish everyone the best of luck. I completed the above requirements and shared contest on my twitter page, @DianeLori, Facebook page, kleimanlaw, Pinterest page, dlori27 and google page, Diane Kleiman

Neither of us have ever been out of the country so this would be a wonderful experience for the both of us. My husband has never been on a plane ride in his life and has always wanted to travel but we never could financially. I would of course take my loving husband with me on this trip.
